ACTICIN DESCRIPTION:
PERMETHRIN - TOPICAL CREAM (purr-METH-rin)

ACTICIN SIDE EFFECTS:
Itching, tingling, numbness, redness or irritation may occur. If these effects continue, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop a skin rash or burning or swelling of the skin. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO USE ACTICIN:
ACTICIN: ACTICIN is for use on the skin only. Apply carefully to the affected area as directed avoiding the eyes, nose and mouth. Massage into the skin. After 8 to 14 hours, wash off the cream.

ACTICIN USES:
ACTICIN is used to treat scabies.

ACTICIN PRECAUTIONS:
Tell your doctor if you have any pre-existing illness or allergies. ACTICIN should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known if ACTICIN appears in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

ACTICIN DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

ACTICIN OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed. Symptoms of overdose may include dizziness, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, headache, weakness, seizures, and loss of consciousness.

ACTICIN NOTES:
One application is usually all that is needed. Flush eyes with water immediately should the medication come into contact with your eyes.

MISSED ACTICIN DOSE:
Apply ACTICIN as soon as possible after it is prescribed. Use only the amount prescribed.

ACTICIN STORAGE:
Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. Do not store in the bathroom.
