ALA-SEB DESCRIPTION:
SALICYLIC/SULFUR - SHAMPOO (sal-ih-SILL-ick/SULL-fur)

Sebex, Sebulex

ALA-SEB SIDE EFFECTS:
Redness and mild irritation of the scalp may occur. If either of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: severe redness of the scalp, rash, swelling. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: nausea, vomiting, dizziness, loss of hearing, ringing in the ears, drowsiness, trouble breathing, diarrhea, mental/mood changes. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO USE ALA-SEB:
ALA-SEB: Apply the shampoo to wet hair usually two times a week, or as directed by your doctor. After applying the shampoo, massage it vigorously into the scalp; rinse the scalp thoroughly and repeat.

ALA-SEB USES:
ALA-SEB is used to treat dandruff and various other scalp conditions (e.g., seborrhea, psoriasis).

ALA-SEB PRECAUTIONS:
Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: cuts or other open wounds on the scalp, allergies (especially other medicated shampoos). ALA-SEB is not recommended for use if you have the following medical conditions: diabetes, poor blood circulation. ALA-SEB should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known if the medication passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

ALA-SEB DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medication you may use, especially of: other scalp products. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

ALA-SEB OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

ALA-SEB NOTES:
Do not share ALA-SEB with others.

MISSED ALA-SEB DOSE:
If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.

ALA-SEB STORAGE:
Store at room temperature between 36 and 86 degrees F (2 to 30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
