AXID AR SIDE EFFECTS:
Sleepiness, fatigue or sweating may occur. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: rapid or pounding heartbeat, diarrhea, pale stools, mental confusion, easy bruising, vision changes. In the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek medical attention immediately. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO USE AXID AR:
AXID AR: AXID AR may be taken without regard to meals. Do not increase your dose, take this more often than prescribed or stop taking this without first consulting your doctor.

AXID AR USES:
Nizatadine blocks stomach acid secretions. It is used to treat and prevent ulcers, to treat a heartburn and stomach disorder known as GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disorder), and to treat conditions associated with excess acid secretion.

AXID AR PRECAUTIONS:
Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: liver or kidney disease, allergies (including drug allergies). Smoking may cause intestinal problems (e.g., ulcer) to reoccur, hindering the effects of AXID AR. Elderly persons may be more sensitive to the effects of this medication. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using AXID AR. Nizatidine is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

AXID AR DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medications you are taking, including: itraconazole, ketoconazole. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

AXID AR OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include difficulty breathing, fast heartbeat, tremors, vomiting, restlessness, weakness, fatigue, or dizziness.

AXID AR NOTES:
For best results, AXID AR is often used along with lifestyle changes such as stress-reduction programs, exercise and dietary changes. Talk to your healthcare professional about changes that you can benefit from. Laboratory tests may be done periodically while taking AXID AR to monitor results and prevent side effects.

MISSED AXID AR DOSE:
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.

AXID AR STORAGE:
Store at room temperature (59 to 86 degrees F or 15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and moisture.
