CALAMINE DESCRIPTION:
CALAMINE LOTION - TOPICAL (CAL-uh-mine)
CALAMINE SIDE EFFECTS:
Very unlikely but report promptly: rash, irritation. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
HOW TO USE CALAMINE:
CALAMINE: Wash and completely dry the affected area before applying the lotion. Shake lotion well before use. Apply CALAMINE to the affected area of skin, generally three to four times daily or as directed by your physician. Learn proper use of CALAMINE. Consult your pharmacist. This medicine is for external use only. Notify your doctor if your condition does not improve in 7 days.
CALAMINE USES:
CALAMINE is used to help relieve itching, pain and discomfort due to poison ivy, poison oak and poison sumac.
CALAMINE PRECAUTIONS:
Tell your doctor your medical history and of any allergies you might have. Avoid getting this medicine in your eyes or on the inside of your nose, mouth or genital area.
CALAMINE DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of all nonprescription and prescription medication you may use, especially: other skin products. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
CALAMINE OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
CALAMINE NOTES:
Do not share CALAMINE with others.
MISSED CALAMINE DOSE:
If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.
CALAMINE STORAGE:
Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from light and moisture. Do not freeze.
