CERVICAL AMINO ACID SIDE EFFECTS:
CERVICAL AMINO ACID is usually well tolerated. If you experience vaginal burning or itching, contact your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop a vaginal yeast infection while taking CERVICAL AMINO ACID. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
HOW TO USE CERVICAL AMINO ACID:
CERVICAL AMINO ACID: CERVICAL AMINO ACID is for vaginal use only. Fill the applicator provided with the medication. Insert the applicator into the vagina as directed, usually once in the evening for 2 to 4 weeks. After use, clean the applicator with warm soapy water and rinse well. A detailed instruction sheet should be provided with the medication. Review the instructions and ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions.
CERVICAL AMINO ACID USES:
CERVICAL AMINO ACID is used in the treatment of certain vaginal conditions.
CERVICAL AMINO ACID PRECAUTIONS:
Tell your doctor if you have any pre-existing illness or allergies. CERVICAL AMINO ACID should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known if CERVICAL AMINO ACID appears in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
CERVICAL AMINO ACID DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. Avoid the use of any vaginal douches while taking CERVICAL AMINO ACID unless your doctor tells you otherwise. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
CERVICAL AMINO ACID OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
CERVICAL AMINO ACID NOTES:
CERVICAL AMINO ACID is not a contraceptive agent.
MISSED CERVICAL AMINO ACID DOSE:
If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
CERVICAL AMINO ACID STORAGE:
Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat and light.
