ERGOMAR DESCRIPTION:
ERGOTAMINE - ORAL/INHALATION (er-GOT-uh-meen)

ERGOMAR SIDE EFFECTS:
May cause dizziness, drowsiness, or stomach upset. These effects should disappear as your body adjusts to the medication. Notify your doctor if you experience: chest pain, irregular heartbeat, vomiting, muscle pain or numbness, pain or coldness in the hands or feet. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO USE ERGOMAR:
ERGOMAR: It is best to use ERGOMAR at the first sign of a headache. It will take longer to work if taken when the headache has already become severe. After using this, lie down in a quiet, dark room for an hour or two. Sublingual tablets are to be placed under the tongue to be dissolved. Do not swallow these tablets or eat or drink while it is dissolving. The aerosol spray should be shaken well before each dose. Rinsing your mouth out with water or gargling after taking a dose may help prevent hoarseness or throat irritation. Make sure you understand how often to use ERGOMAR and the maximum amount of medication that should be used. Do not exceed recommended dosage. Review you dosing instructions with your doctor or pharmacist.

ERGOMAR USES:
ERGOMAR is used to treat migraine and cluster headaches.

ERGOMAR PRECAUTIONS:
Before using ERGOMAR, tell your doctor your medical history especially of: blood vessel problems, liver or kidney disease, severe itching, high blood pressure, circulation problems, drug allergies. Avoid activities requiring alertness if dizziness or drowsiness occurs. Avoid alcohol while taking ERGOMAR as it may make your headache worse. ERGOMAR must not be used during pregnancy. If you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant, inform your doctor immediately. ERGOMAR is excreted into breast milk and its use is not recommended while nursing. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

ERGOMAR DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: beta-blockers (e.g., atenolol, propranolol); macrolide antibiotics (e.g., azithromycin, erythromycin); nitrates (e.g., isosorbide, nitroglycerin). Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

ERGOMAR OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea; diarrhea; vomiting; numbness, tingling, and bluish discoloration of fingers and toes; drowsiness; and seizures.

ERGOMAR NOTES:
Do not share ERGOMAR with others.

MISSED ERGOMAR DOSE:
If you miss a dose, do not double the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.

ERGOMAR STORAGE:
Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. Do not store in the bathroom.
