FS SHAMPOO DESCRIPTION:
FLUOCINOLONE ACETONIDE - SHAMPOO (flew-oh-SIN-oh-lone uh-SEET-oh-nide)

FS SHAMPOO SIDE EFFECTS:
FS SHAMPOO may cause burning, stinging, itching, dryness, lightening of skin color or redness when first applied to the skin. This should disappear in a few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor. Skin infections can become worse when using FS SHAMPOO. Notify your doctor if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly the following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting or dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO USE FS SHAMPOO:
FS SHAMPOO: This shampoo comes with a capsule of medication that the pharmacist must add to the shampoo prior to dispensing. Shake well prior to using. Apply approximately one ounce of the shampoo to the scalp once daily by working into a lather. Allow it to remain on the scalp for 5 minutes. Then thoroughly rinse your scalp and hair two times. If you should accidentally get this shampoo in your eyes, rinse eyes out with water immediately. Do not bandage, wrap or cover the area treated unless you are instructed to do so by your doctor.

FS SHAMPOO USES:
This shampoo is used to treat severe dandruff (seborrheic dermatitis).

FS SHAMPOO PRECAUTIONS:
Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: infections or sores in scalp, allergies (especially drug allergies). Though very unlikely, it is possible FS SHAMPOO will be absorbed into your bloodstream. This may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. This is especially true for children and for those who have used this for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. This precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of this medication. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details. FS SHAMPOO should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known if FS SHAMPOO is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

FS SHAMPOO DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: other skin or hair products. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

FS SHAMPOO OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

FS SHAMPOO NOTES:
Inform all your doctors you use (or have used) this medication. Do not share FS SHAMPOO with others.

MISSED FS SHAMPOO DOSE:
If you miss a dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual shampooing schedule.

FS SHAMPOO STORAGE:
Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing. Discard after 3 months.
