HUMIBID DESCRIPTION:
GUAIFENESIN - ORAL SPRINKLE CAPSULE (gweye-FEN-eh-sin)

HUMIBID SIDE EFFECTS:
HUMIBID may cause stomach upset or nausea. These effects should disappear in a few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects persist or become worse inform your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO USE HUMIBID:
HUMIBID: Sprinkle total contents of capsule on a small amount of soft food (e.g., jelly, applesauce) just before eating. Capsule contents should not be crushed or chewed. The capsule may also be swallowed whole with a full glass of water. Drink plenty of fluids while taking HUMIBID, unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. Do not take HUMIBID for a chronic persistent cough such as occurs with smoking or asthma. If the cough lasts for more than one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, headache or rash, consult your doctor.

HUMIBID USES:
HUMIBID works to loosen phlegm and mucous in the lungs. It is used to relieve a dry, nonproductive cough and enables "coughing up" of mucous.

HUMIBID PRECAUTIONS:
Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: high blood pressure, heart disease, thyroid disease, diabetes, allergies (especially drug allergies).

HUMIBID DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medications you use, especially of: all cough-and- cold products.

HUMIBID OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, fatigue, weakness, dizziness, and unusually slow heartbeat.

HUMIBID NOTES:
HUMIBID comes in a variety of dose forms such as tablets, capsules, long acting tablets or capsules and a syrup. Ask your doctor or pharmacist to recommend the best product for you.

MISSED HUMIBID DOSE:
If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.

HUMIBID STORAGE:
Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. Do not store in the bathroom.
