KLARON DESCRIPTION:
SODIUM SULFACETAMIDE LOTION - TOPICAL (sull-fuh-SEET-uh-mide)

KLARON SIDE EFFECTS:
Irritation, stinging or burning of the skin may occur. If these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor promptly. Unlikely but report promptly: severe redness or scaling of the skinm, muscle or joint aches. In the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, unusual tiredness, yellowing of the skin or eyes, stomach pain, nausea, persistent fever, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO USE KLARON:
KLARON: Shake well before using. Apply a thin layer to the affected area of the skin, generally twice daily, as directed. Use only on the skin. Avoid contact with the eyes.

KLARON USES:
KLARON is used to treat acne.

KLARON PRECAUTIONS:
Tell your doctor your medical history, especailly of: asthma, allergies (especially to other sulfa drugs such as sulfamethoxazole or to sulfites). Use of KLARON for prolonged or repeated periods may result in a secondary infection (e.g., affecting the skin). Consult your doctor or pharmacist. KLARON should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known whether KLARON is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

KLARON DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medication you may use, especially of: other drugs you apply to the skin for your condition. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

KLARON OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

KLARON NOTES:
Do not share KLARON with others.

MISSED KLARON DOSE:
If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.

KLARON STORAGE:
Store at room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 to 25 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
