HOW TO USE LUXIQ:
LUXIQ: LUXIQ is applied to the skin usually twice daily, in the morning and at night, or as directed by your doctor. For proper use of this foam, turn the can upside down before and during spraying. Clean and dry the affected area before applying the medication. To apply to the scalp, turn the can upside down and spray a small amount of foam onto a saucer, plate, or other cool surface. Do not spray the foam directly onto the hands because the foam will immediately begin to melt on the warm skin. Pick up small amounts of foam with your fingers and gently rub it into the affected area(s) until the foam disappears. Continue applying the foam in this manner until the entire affected scalp area is treated. Do not bandage, wrap, or cover the treated area unless instructed to do so by your doctor. Avoid using LUXIQ around the eyes unless directed to do so by your doctor.

LUXIQ USES:
LUXIQ is used to treat swelling, itching, and irritations of the scalp (psoriasis).

OTHER USES OF LUXIQ:
LUXIQ may also be used for other irritated skin conditions as determined by your doctor.

LUXIQ PRECAUTIONS:

Treatment with this, or other corticosteroid-containing skin products (e.g., alclometasone, hydrocortisone) beyond 2 weeks consecutively is not recommended. Though very unlikely, it is possible LUXIQ will be absorbed into your bloodstream. This may have undesirable effects that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. This is especially true for children and for those who have used this medication for an extended period of time, or if they also have medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. This precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of LUXIQ. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details. This product is contained in a can under extreme pressure.
