PABA-500 SIDE EFFECTS:
PABA-500 may cause stomach upset and loss of appetite. If this occurs, stop taking PABA-500 until your stomach feels better again. If you develop a fever or a rash while taking PABA-500, notify your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
HOW TO USE PABA-500:
PABA-500: PABA-500 should be taken with food. Tablets should be taken with plenty of liquid to help minimize stomach upset. The powder must be diluted in water as directed before swallowing.
PABA-500 USES:
PABA-500 is used to treat certain skin disorders. Also known as PABA, it is used to make your skin more flexible.
PABA-500 PRECAUTIONS:
Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, diabetes or low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) before taking this medication. Make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant or nursing before taking PABA-500.
PABA-500 DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of dapsone and sulfa drugs (e.g., sulfisoxazole). Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
PABA-500 OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea and vomiting.
PABA-500 NOTES:
PABA-500 is not a vitamin, but small amounts are found naturally in cereal, eggs, milk and meats.
MISSED PABA-500 DOSE:
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
PABA-500 STORAGE:
Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
