REGRANEX SIDE EFFECTS:
Unlikely but report promptly any skin rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
HOW TO USE REGRANEX:
REGRANEX: Wash hands thoroughly before applying this medicine. To avoid contaminating the container tip, do not touch it to the skin or any other surface. This product is placed on the surface of an ulcer exactly as directed, generally once daily until healing occurs. Learn proper technique for measurement (number of inches of gel needed for each use) and application of the drug on the ulcer area. The amount needed will vary depending on the ulcer size. Apply a thin layer over the entire affected area as directed. Consult your doctor and pharmacist. The ulcer may take 2 to 5 months to heal. If no improvement occurs in 2 months, consult your doctor.
REGRANEX USES:
REGRANEX is used to help heal skin ulcers.
REGRANEX PRECAUTIONS:
Before using REGRANEX, tell your doctor your medical history, including: allergies, cancer in the ulcer area. REGRANEX should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known whether REGRANEX is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
REGRANEX DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of all nonprescription and prescription medication you may use, especially of: all other skin products. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
REGRANEX OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
REGRANEX NOTES:
Use this product along with a doctor-approved ulcer care program (e.g., which includes not walking on affected feet). Do not share REGRANEX with others.
MISSED REGRANEX DOSE:
If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
REGRANEX STORAGE:
Refrigerate this product between 36 and 46 degrees F (2- 8 degrees C) away from moisture. Do not freeze.
