ROBITUSSIN SEVERE CONGESTION DESCRIPTION:

ROBITUSSIN SEVERE CONGESTION SIDE EFFECTS:
Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, a rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because ROBITUSSIN SEVERE CONGESTION may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness and avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO USE ROBITUSSIN SEVERE CONGESTION:
ROBITUSSIN SEVERE CONGESTION: Take ROBITUSSIN SEVERE CONGESTION by mouth. It should be swallowed whole. Do not crush or chew the medication. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take ROBITUSSIN SEVERE CONGESTION as directed. Do not increase the dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. It is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.

ROBITUSSIN SEVERE CONGESTION USES:
Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. This combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.

ROBITUSSIN SEVERE CONGESTION PRECAUTIONS:
Tell your doctor if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. ROBITUSSIN SEVERE CONGESTION should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known if ROBITUSSIN SEVERE CONGESTION appears in breast milk; consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

ROBITUSSIN SEVERE CONGESTION DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, medication for depression, medication for high blood pressure. Tell your doctor if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in the last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

ROBITUSSIN SEVERE CONGESTION OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, and seizures.

MISSED ROBITUSSIN SEVERE CONGESTION DOSE:
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.

ROBITUSSIN SEVERE CONGESTION STORAGE:
Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. Do not store in the bathroom.
