ROMAZICON DESCRIPTION:
FLUMAZENIL - INJECTION (flew-MAY-zee-nill)

ROMAZICON SIDE EFFECTS:
Headache, sweating, irritation at the injection site, blurred vision, flushing, nausea, vomiting or dizziness may occur. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor immediately if you develop a rapid heart rate, skin rash, mood changes, irritability, anxiety, mental confusion, nervousness, tremor, abnormal or jerky muscle movements or depression while taking ROMAZICON. Avoid intake of alcoholic beverages or any prescription or nonprescription medication for at least one day unless directed to do so by your doctor. Be aware that sedation may persist and that your memory and judgment may be impaired for up to one day. Therefore, avoid driving and do not perform tasks requiring alertness until you no longer feel dizzy. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO USE ROMAZICON:
ROMAZICON: ROMAZICON is given by injection by a health care professional. The dose and frequency of use is based on your condition and response. You will be monitored closely while receiving ROMAZICON.

ROMAZICON WARNING:
Flumazenil can cause seizures, especially in patients who have been on benzodiazepines (e.g., diazepam) for a long time or if patient has taken too much of a benzodiazepine (overdose).

ROMAZICON USES:
ROMAZICON reverses the sedative effects of certain medications. It is used to counteract effects of certain anesthetics. It may also be used in the treatment of drug overdose.

ROMAZICON PRECAUTIONS:
Tell your doctor if you have a history of seizures, panic attacks, alcohol or drug dependency, breathing disorders, heart disease, liver disease, head injury or if you have any allergies. ROMAZICON should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known if ROMAZICON appears in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. ROMAZICON is not recommended for use in children.

ROMAZICON DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including any medication for depression or seizures, narcotic pain relievers, sleeping pills or sedatives. Avoid the use of alcohol while taking ROMAZICON. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

ROMAZICON OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include emotional or mood changes, agitation, and convulsions.

ROMAZICON NOTES:
ROMAZICON reverses the sedative effects of other medication but memory and judgment may still be vague for up to one day.

MISSED ROMAZICON DOSE:
ROMAZICON is administered by a health care professional who will determine your dose and schedule. There is no need for follow-up doses.

ROMAZICON STORAGE:
Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children.
