SEPTISOL DESCRIPTION:
HEXACHLOROPHENE - CLEANSER (hex-uh-KLOR-oh-feen)

SEPTISOL SIDE EFFECTS:
Notify your doctor if the following effects occur: redness, irritation. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO USE SEPTISOL:
SEPTISOL: SEPTISOL is for use on the skin only. Use it as directed to clean the hands or affected area. Use carefully if applying to the face. Avoid contact in or around the eyes. Rinse thoroughly after washing , especially if washing scrotal, vaginal or anal areas. For best results, use this as directed. Do not use it more often or use more than necessary.

SEPTISOL USES:
SEPTISOL is a skin cleanser that kills bacteria. It is used to help prevent passing germs to others.

SEPTISOL PRECAUTIONS:
Do not use on burned or abraded skin or on mucous membranes (eyes, inside nose, mouth). Tell your doctor if you have any pre-existing conditions, such as: illness, infections, allergies (especially to antibiotics). As with any medication, this should be used with caution during pregnancy or if breast-feeding. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.

SEPTISOL DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: skin products. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

SEPTISOL OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. If this medicine is accidentally taken by mouth, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of ingestion may include loss of appetite, vomiting, stomach cramps, diarrhea, seizures, and cold, clammy skin.

SEPTISOL NOTES:
SEPTISOL is available in different forms, such as a liquid, foam, or sponge. Discuss with your doctor or pharmacist the best product for your use.

MISSED SEPTISOL DOSE:
If you miss an application, use it as soon as you remember. Do not use more of this in an effort to catch-up.

SEPTISOL STORAGE:
Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat. Keep out of reach of children.
