STOMACH RELIEF SIDE EFFECTS:
STOMACH RELIEF is generally well tolerated. Stools may appear gray-black in color while taking STOMACH RELIEF. Do not be alarmed. This will disappear when the medication is stopped. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
HOW TO USE STOMACH RELIEF:
STOMACH RELIEF: The liquid form of STOMACH RELIEF must be shaken well before pouring each dose. Chewable tablets must be chewed thoroughly or dissolved in the mouth. Non-chewable tablets and caplets must be swallowed whole with a glass of water. The dose may be repeated every 30 minutes to one hour as needed but no more than 8 doses should be taken in a 24 hour period.
STOMACH RELIEF USES:
STOMACH RELIEF is used to treat indigestion, nausea, diarrhea; to relieve stomach cramps and to prevent traveler's diarrhea.
STOMACH RELIEF PRECAUTIONS:
Tell your doctor if you have any illness or allergies. STOMACH RELIEF should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. Since small amounts of STOMACH RELIEF are found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
STOMACH RELIEF DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including aspirin, blood thinners, tetracycline antibiotics or any medications for diabetes or gout. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
STOMACH RELIEF OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include ringing in ears, dizziness, confusion, and coma.
STOMACH RELIEF NOTES:
If the condition for which this was prescribed does not improve after 2 days or becomes worse or if a fever is present, notify your doctor.
MISSED STOMACH RELIEF DOSE:
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STOMACH RELIEF STORAGE:
Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. The liquid may be stored in the refrigerator to improve the taste, but it is not necessary. Do not store in the bathroom.
