TETANUS/DIPHTHERIA TOXOIDS DESCRIPTION:
DIPHTHERIA AND TETANUS TOXOIDS COMBINED (ADULT) - INJECTION (dip-THEER-ee-uh AND TET-un-us TOX-oids (Adult)

TETANUS/DIPHTHERIA TOXOIDS SIDE EFFECTS:
Most common is burning or stinging at the injection site. Mild fever, rash, sore throat, headache and weakness occur infrequently. If any of these effects continue beyond two days or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you experience a high fever, breathing trouble or muscle or joint aches. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO USE TETANUS/DIPHTHERIA TOXOIDS:
TETANUS/DIPHTHERIA TOXOIDS: TETANUS/DIPHTHERIA TOXOIDS is injected into a muscle usually in the upper arm or in the upper thigh by a health care professional.

TETANUS/DIPHTHERIA TOXOIDS USES:
TETANUS/DIPHTHERIA TOXOIDS is given to provide protection (immunity) against diphtheria and tetanus disease in children beginning at seven years of age and in adults.

TETANUS/DIPHTHERIA TOXOIDS PRECAUTIONS:
Tell your doctor if you have any illness, infections, blood disorders or if you have any allergies. Inform your doctor of any previous reactions to any vaccines. TETANUS/DIPHTHERIA TOXOIDS should not be given during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. Because TETANUS/DIPHTHERIA TOXOIDS appears in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

TETANUS/DIPHTHERIA TOXOIDS DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including steroids, anticancer medications, blood thinners or immunosuppressants. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

TETANUS/DIPHTHERIA TOXOIDS OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
