TRI-SUL SIDE EFFECTS:
TRI-SUL may cause vaginal itching or burning. These effects should disappear as your body adjusts to the medication. If they continue or become bothersome, contact your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop a skin rash or experience vaginal irritation while taking TRI-SUL. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
HOW TO USE TRI-SUL:
TRI-SUL: TRI-SUL is for vaginal use only. Fill the applicator provided with the medication. Insert the applicator high into the vagina and press the plunger to release the medication. Clean the applicator with warm soapy water and rinse well. A detailed instruction sheet should be provided with the medication. Review the instructions and be sure to ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions. Continue using TRI-SUL for as long as prescribed to ensure the infection is cleared. Stopping therapy too soon may result in a re-infection.
TRI-SUL USES:
TRI-SUL is an anti-infective used to treat certain vaginal infections.
TRI-SUL PRECAUTIONS:
Tell your doctor if you have any pre-existing kidney disease or allergies, especially to any antibiotics. TRI-SUL should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. Since small amounts of TRI-SUL are found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
TRI-SUL OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
TRI-SUL NOTES:
TRI-SUL is not a contraceptive agent. It is advised to avoid vaginal sexual intercourse during treatment with TRI-SUL.
MISSED TRI-SUL DOSE:
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
TRI-SUL STORAGE:
Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light.
