TUSSIN HONEY SIDE EFFECTS:
TUSSIN HONEY may cause stomach upset or nausea. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
HOW TO USE TUSSIN HONEY:
TUSSIN HONEY: Take each dose of TUSSIN HONEY with a full glass of water. Water will also help break-up the mucous and clear congestion. Drink plenty of fluids while taking TUSSIN HONEY, unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. Do not take TUSSIN HONEY for a chronic, persistent cough such as occurs with smoking or asthma unless directed by your doctor. If the cough lasts for more than one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, headache or rash, consult your doctor.
TUSSIN HONEY USES:
TUSSIN HONEY is used to relieve a dry cough and helps to loosen phlegm and mucous in the lungs so you can "cough-up" (expectorate) mucous.
TUSSIN HONEY PRECAUTIONS:
If you have any of the following health problems, consult your doctor before using TUSSIN HONEY: breathing problems such as emphysema/chronic bronchitis/asthma, smoking, any allergies. TUSSIN HONEY should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known if TUSSIN HONEY is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
TUSSIN HONEY DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of all the medicines you may use, (both prescription and nonprescription), especially: cough- and-cold medicines. Guaifenesin may affect the results of certain lab tests. Be sure your caregivers are aware you use this medicine before lab tests are performed. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
TUSSIN HONEY OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, fatigue, weakness, dizziness, and unusually slow heartbeat.
TUSSIN HONEY NOTES:
TUSSIN HONEY comes in a variety of dose forms such as tablets, capsules, long acting tablets or capsules and a syrup. Ask your doctor or pharmacist to recommend the best product for you.
MISSED TUSSIN HONEY DOSE:
If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.
TUSSIN HONEY STORAGE:
Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. Do not store in the bathroom. Do not freeze liquid forms of this medication. Do not store syrup in the refrigerator.
